The Canadian wedding industry is booming.
In the past year alone, more than 100 new weddings were held in Ottawa, and the city now has a total of more than 500,000 weddings taking place each year.
And this month, there are plenty more planned.
A number of big-name wedding venues are getting ready to open for business in Ottawa.
These include The Ritz Carlton Hotel, The Grand Ballroom, and The Ottawa Centre for the Performing Arts.
Here are some other big names in the wedding industry:The Ritz, The Ottawa Theatre and The Royal Ottawa Hotel are getting their first weddings this month.
And the two-story hotel will be opening to the public for the first time since 2006.
The Royal Ottawa will be the first of two hotels that will open to the general public in Ottawa for the next few months.
The hotel, which is located on Parliament Hill and features a rooftop terrace, will be open for the general crowds on February 28.
The Ottawa Convention Centre will open for a first time on March 16.
And for those looking for a bigger venue, there is also the Grand Ballrooms, the Royal Ontario Museum, and both The Roxy Hotel and The Rooftop Theatre.
The Roxy is already set to open on March 15 and The Grand will be set to reopen on March 30.
And The Rizor will open on April 1, while The Roper and The Ryerson will be in operation for the rest of the month.
